Rural Skills Australia provides advice and assistance on rural and related Australian Apprenticeships to National Farmers' Federation and their affiliated bodies' members, Australian Apprenticeships Centres, Job Services Australia members, Registered Training Organisations and Group Training Organisations.

Rural Skills Australia also provides information and advice to industry on training reforms and training packages; and at times undertakes special projects linked to increasing education and training in rural and related industries.

Rural Skills Australia is not an employment agency. Prospective employers and their apprentices can use the same arrangements for Australian Apprenticeships as they would for any other job vacancy. This might include employment agencies, newspapers, word of mouth etc.
